One of the more popular rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S7 it is that its design won’t be too drastic, meaning that it should look like the Galaxy S6 with some minor changes. In fact leaked renders and leaked photos have suggested that to be somewhat true. However according to the folks at SamMobile, it might actually end up looking like something else.
SamMobile has heard from their sources that the Galaxy S7 could actually end up resembling the Galaxy Note 5, or to be more specific, it could end up looking like a smaller version of the Note 5. Although to be fair, the Galaxy Note 5’s design doesn’t look too different from the Galaxy S6 either.
We suppose if there are any differences, it would be the fact that the Note 5 sports flatter edges, versus the Galaxy S6 which are slightly curvier. The design of the camera is also slightly different, but nothing too major. Speaking of camera, SamMobile also adds that the camera module on the Galaxy S7 will protrude slightly, like what it is doing now so don’t expect a flat back anytime soon.
In any case this is best taken with a grain of salt for now, but the Galaxy Note 5’s design is a good one and we suppose it wouldn’t be a bad thing if it did look like it, albeit a tad boring since we’re sure many users would like to see a brand new design.
