One of the rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is that it could be announced in February, possibly at MWC 2016, which we guess wouldn’t really be that much of a surprise. However the next question is, when will the phone be released? Turns out we might have a release date as well, thanks to a recent tweet by @evleaks.
According to his tweet, it was suggested that the phone could see a release on the 11th of March. He wrote, “Starting to look like a Friday, March 11th Galaxy release in the U.S.” Note that he does not specifically mention the Galaxy S7, but we can only assume that’s what he was referring to.
Also based on his tweet, it does not sound like the 11th of March is a sure thing, but then again these are just rumors meaning that they’re always subject to change, so do take it with a grain of salt for now. In the meantime we have been seeing a fairly steady amount of leaks regarding the phone.
There has been reference made to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on benchmarks. There has also been talks about there being a Galaxy S7 Edge+, but to date we have not really heard or seen any of its specs, but either way we will be at MWC 2016 next month, so remember to check back with us then for the details.
