This is said to be similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge+ where it will pack a larger curved display compared to the Galaxy S6 Edge. That being said it seems that new information regarding the handset has leaked online and in the process, has confirmed some of our speculation and rumors, although it should probably best be approached with some measure of skepticism.
According to the leak, the phone is said to feature a 5.7-inch display similar to last year’s model. Its resolution is also of the QHD quality which once again is consistent with what we know so far. The leak also confirmed its 3GB of RAM, and interestingly enough it seems that Samsung will be packing a 12MP camera onto the Galaxy S7 Edge+.
This is in line with what we heard previously where Samsung could opt for less megapixels but increase the sensor size. Unfortunately apart from the megapixel count, we can’t tell the sensor size from the screenshot. The front-facing camera appears to be kept at 5MP. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully in the coming month or two we can expect more details.
