The X-2s is also a mirrorless camera and will be compatible with Fujifilm’s range of X-series of lenses, and will come with a real-time viewfinder that has a large magnification of 0.62x and an electronic viewfinder that has a lag time of 0.005 seconds. Under the hood, photographers can also look forward to a 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor.
In fact, the X-E2s is faster than the recently announced X-Pro2 with an autofocus speed of 0.06 seconds, but then again we suppose unless you’re a professional, the 0.02 seconds might not be very noticeable. It will also feature a 3-inch scratch-resistant LCD display, new Classic Chrome film simulation mode, an interval timer for shooting time-lapse photos, two command dials, and seven customizable buttons.
It will also come with built-in WiFi for wireless transfer of files as well as remotely controlling the camera via your phone, and will also be able to record video at Full HD at 60fps. The Fujifilm X-E2s will be priced at $699.95 for the body-only and should be available for purchase come February 2016.
