Last month the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End went quite nicely, those who participated in the beta program got to see how the progress is coming along. Yet it appears that Naughty Dog has much more up its sleeve that it will like to show off soon, lead game designer Robert Cogburn has revealed via Twitter that they have “lots of stuff” to show about Uncharted 4 multiplayer in 2016.
Naughty Dog has come under a bit of criticism lately since it decided to delay the Uncharted 4 release yet again. It confirmed last year that the game will arrive in March 2016 and then announced late last month that the release will now take place in April 2016.
Game directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann explained that as the production on this game is being wrapped up, they need a bit more time to finish the game in order to ensure that Uncharted 4 meets their vision and standards. They didn’t say anything about showcasing multiplayer features.
Robert Cogburn, the lead game designer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, says that there’s lots of stuff to show off in 2016 about the multiplayer experience of this title. All of it will be revealed in due time since we’re about four months away from the release date of Uncharted 4.
Naughty Dog has now promised to release Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on April 26th, 2016. It’s going to be exclusive to the PlayStation 4.
