Talk about using pop culture to further an agenda. Def Leppard, the rockers who are still around, have decided to debut their new music video known as ‘Dangerous’ with a caveat – it will arrive this week only within the Guitar Hero Live game. This particular video will appear as a playable track, which is certainly a novelty no matter how you look at it. Should you have missed out on the revival of Guitar Hero in 2015, then you would be pleased to know that the latest installment will merge gameplay along with “live” visuals of artists playing gigs, and Def Leppard has decided to take advantage of this.
Def Leppard singer Joe Elliot shared, “The way our fans discover and listen to our music has evolved so much throughout the years. Whether they’re playing on vinyl, streaming the songs online or playing along to our music video in Guitar Hero Live, it’s amazing to see how interactive music has become.”
This new music video will make its appearance within the game under the Def Leppard: On Through The Ages Premium Show segment, where the show will also comprise of classic and newer versions of videos for the songs “Let’s Go” and “Rock of Ages,” allowing you to roll back the years to a time where a certain M.C. Hammr told you that “U cant touch this”.
