If you have seen the original Star Wars trilogy, if not, what’s wrong with you? moving on, so if you’ve seen the original trilogy you will be aware that there’s something that Darth Vader likes doing quite a bit. Seeing him “force choke” someone has made us all wish for that power but alas, The Force is not strong with us. There is an interesting bit of news, though, a Darth Vader baby onesie has been recalled, what’s interesting is that the recall is due to the most Darth Vader reason possible.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for this baby onesie, because and drum roll please, it poses a choking hazard. It all makes perfect sense.
The choking hazard doesn’t actually have anything to do with The Force or with Darth Vader being in a very angry mood, the onesie has three snaps on the bottom which can detach randomly and thus create a choking hazard for infants if they put the snaps in their mouths, which is likely, since infants tend to do things like that.
One could purchase these onesies at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and on board the many Disney-themed cruise ships last year. So far there haven’t been any reports of the choking hazard actually doing any damage, and to make sure that it stays that way, the CPSC recommends that those who purchased one contact Walt Disney Parks and Resorts to get further information on how to return the item and obtain a full refund.
