Some of us grew up without being told that someone loves us – and that itself is rather tragic, where the lack of love during one’s formative years has since been proven to be one of the mitigating factors when it comes to awkward social development. Well, it looks like there is more than meets the eye whenever we express our love and appreciation to people who are precious and dear to us. A video that was created in order to promote Panasonic’s premium range of appliances, such as air conditioners, also demonstrated the message that heartwarming words will result in a rise in body temperature.
Yup, you read that right – if someone tells you that he or she loves you, the thermographic camera captured an increase of 0.8 degrees Celsius on average on the receiving party of those cherished words. After all, the stoic Japanese people tend to be rather closed about their feelings, where a survey has shown that 84.7% of people have never uttered the words “I love you” to their loved ones.
Well, what are you waiting for? It is certainly food for thought, and one does wonder whether there are other situations where the body temperature rises with selected words.
