Bethesda released Fallout 4 in November last year and it’s safe to say that this game proved to be a hit. Millions of people across the globe took it up on the day it arrived and they have largely been satisfied with the experience. Fallout 4 players on PC have also been able to enjoy mods to enhance their gameplay experience, this ability is not yet available to players on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, however Bethesda has confirmed that it will be “sharing more details soon” about Fallout 4 mod support for consoles.
This was revealed via Twitter where Bethesda Softworks was asked by a fan when mods will be coming to the console. Without confirming or denying anything, the official account for Fallout replied: “we’ll be sharing more details soon. stay tuned.”
I should mention here that Bethesda did announce back at E3 2015 that Fallout 4 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will eventually get mod support, which is really why players are waiting to get more information on this, and now it looks like they won’t have to wait for too long before Bethesda says something about this.
PC gamers have been able to use some very interesting mods, like the one that adds actual seasons to the game, or the one that brings Lightsabers to Fallout 4. Players on console have had to be patient all this time, they can now start hoping that Bethesda will have some good news for them in the near future.
