Last year in December, Nintendo announced a new DLC for Super Smash Bros. in which they will be adding characters like Bayonetta and Corrin (from the new Fire Emblem Fates) to the game. Now the question is, when will those characters be added? Turns out we won’t have to wait much longer.
In a recent announcement Nintendo made on Twitter, it has been revealed that both Bayonetta and Corrin will be added to the game and available for download come 3rd of February, 2016, which is this coming Wednesday. This means that in a couple of days’ time, gamers will have new characters to play with.
In terms of pricing, Bayonetta is priced at $5.99 with her Umbral Clock Tower stage, but this pricing is only for one system (meaning either the Wii U or 3DS). If you’d like the character on both systems, then it will cost you $6.99. Corrin will be the cheaper of the two and is priced at $4.99 for one system, or $5.99 for both.
Both characters are also expected to receive their own Amiibo figurines further down the line, although when exactly that is happening remains unclear. In the meantime gamers who are looking for new content to play with can look forward to these characters on Wednesday.
