For those who are of Chinese descent, the Chinese New Year is nearly upon us (next month, for those who are wondering) which means that as tradition dictates, it’s time for new clothes, new shoes, a fresh haircut, and etc., but how about a new Apple Watch as well? Turns out Apple is celebrating Chinese New Year with the launch of a limited edition Apple Watch.
As you can see in the photo above, this limited edition Apple Watch will come in colors that are generally favored during Chinese New Year, such as gold and red. There are two options to choose from, which is an Apple Watch with a (PRODUCT)RED Sport Band with a Gold Aluminum case, or a similar band with a Silver Aluminum case, both of which are offered in 38mm and 42mm sizes.
Note that in terms of price, they are priced the same as their regular counterparts meaning that the 38mm model is priced at S$518, while the 42mm is priced at S$598. They will be available from now until the 22nd of February 2016, but unfortunately it seems that this offer is currently limited to countries in Asia, such as China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan. For those who are not living in any of these countries, we guess you’d be out of luck.
