If you’re facing problems when trying to use Apple’s music streaming service today then you’re certainly not alone, multiple reports have come in suggesting that Apple Music is down for some subscribers right now. Many are unable to stream music at all and have taken to social media to vent their frustration over the downtime. The issue appears to be affecting both the music catalog on Apple Music as well as the Beats 1 radio station.
Some subscribers complain that they’re being shown the splash screen asking them to sign up for Apple Music even though they’re already paid subscribers of the service. Those who try to sign up again are told that they’re already members, yet they are unable to access any music on Apple Music.
A slight disruption with iTunes Store was noted earlier today and social media posts also show that related error messages are popping up for some iTunes users as well. Apple’s System Status tracker doesn’t show any issues for now despite numerous reports of issues with its music streaming service.
Apple has not yet confirmed that Apple Music is currently facing issues, even if they are not limited to all of its users, which is why it can’t be said for sure right now when these issues will be taken care of. Hopefully, the company will clear up this matter soon.
