According to the listing, the ASUS P008 will feature an 8-inch 2048×1536 display. It will also be accompanied by 2GB of RAM, a 7MP rear-facing camera, a 1.8MP front-facing camera, and under the hood, a Qualcomm hexacore chipset can be found clocked at 1.8GHz. It will also come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow preinstalled which is actually pretty nice.
Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm if the specs are the real deal, especially since benchmarks can be faked, or the alternative is that they are tested using prototype hardware that may or may not be the final design. However it is possible that ASUS could be creating a successor for its ZenPad S 8.0 tablet, and with MWC around the corner, it is possible.
No word on when we might learn more about this alleged tablet from ASUS, but like we said, MWC is taking place next month which is the perfect platform for mobile-related announcements, so do check with us then to see if there are any details to be shared.
