Recently, we heard news that the Xiaomi Mi 4 that runs on Windows 10 Mobile could roll out soon, and here we are with an alleged render of Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 5 flagship smartphone. This alleged render has already leaked online, where it points out the front segment of the device, and in this particular leak, the handset boasts of a physical home button – something that other models in the past such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 lacked.
So far, this leaked render cannot be confirmed as yet, although having a physical home button does make plenty of sense considering how certain whispers on the grapevine do mention the presence of a fingerprint scanner that is located on the front segment of the smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 is tipped to be made official some time in 2016, where there are report which point to a January 21 unveiling as well as a February roll out – although these should always be taken with more than just a grain of salt, knowing how such rumors could just be “placeholder” information for the time being. Whatever the case is, remaining patient will most probably reveal everything else in due time, and there is also word that a Plus version of the device will be announced at the same time.
