The Xiaomi Mi 5 is one particular smartphone that has been leaked before, and this is not a strange thing at all to happen due to the fact that this is a flagship device, and of course, there will be rumors associated with it. Not only that, with Xiaomi’s CEO claiming that this is a handset that it is “worth waiting for”, you can be sure that attention to the device is surely magnified all the more. It seems that a couple of renders that claim to be the Xiaomi Mi 5 has appeared, which are not identical – and what you see above is a leak of the handset’s front panel.
The physical home button which has been talked about for quite some time does seem to be confirmed, as you can see in the cutout, and it will apparently feature a fingerprint scanner in order to keep up with the times and the rest of the flagship models that are in the market. If Xiaomi wanted, they might jolly well have maintained their traditional capacitive button layout.
There will be well rounded corners as well as the alleged leaked Xiaomi Mi 5 front panel depicts, and rumor has it that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will come with a 5″ or 5.2″ touchscreen display – whether it will be Full HD or more, that remains to be seen. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset should be humming underneath the hood, where it is accompanied by 4GB of RAM, a 16MP shooter at the back, an 8MP selfie camera, and a USB Type-C port. Do expect Android 6.0 Marshmallow to roll out with the handset alongside the latest version of Xiaomi’s MIUI. Silver, gold, and rose gold colors should be made available to the masses, too.
