With the Huawei Watch this Chinese manufacturer has made it clear that it too can make a smartwatch like the rest of them, and do a pretty darn good job. Huawei Watch is believed to be one of Huawei’s best consumer device launches in the United States and with the Consumer Electronics Show 2016 just around the corner, a new report suggests that women’s models of the Huawei Watch will be unveiled at CES 2016.
9to5Google claims to have heard from “people familiar with the matter” Huawei Watch iterations made specifically for women will be launched at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016. It also claims that Huawei has already started work on the second-generation Huawei Watch which will be released in the second half of the coming year.
The women’s models aren’t expected to bring some major design changes, they’re said to feature “feminine-looking bands,” coupled with a slightly modified rounder and “more elegant” watch case. Aside from offering some new watch faces with this iteration the company may offer a model in gold color.
Not much is known about the second-gen Huawei Watch at this point but it’s claimed that there might be a cellular version of this wearable device, and since Android Wear does support cellular now, it would really make sense if it did.
