A couple of weeks ago, Twitch announced that their Whisper chat feature would be arriving on mobile devices. However at that time, the company stated that the feature would only be available on Android devices first before making their way onto iOS. The good news is that if you are an iOS user, it looks like it didn’t take too long for the feature to find its way onto Apple’s mobile platform.In a blog post on Twitch’s website, the company has announced that the Whisper feature will now be available on iOS devices. All users have to do is update their Twitch app on their devices (free for download too via the iTunes App Store) and they’ll be good to go. “Warm up those fingers and let the DMs flow, because Whispers 2.0 is now fully available across your favorite iOS devices. Simply update your Twitch app to take advantage of our newly revised Whispers UI.”
For those who are unfamiliar with Whisper, this is basically a chat feature for Twitch. It allows users to send each other private messages and was launched earlier this year. However at the time of launch, the feature was limited to the desktop version of Twitch, so for those of you who love streaming on the go, then this feature will allow you to keep up with your friends via your mobile devices.
