To say that The Beatles made an impact in the world of music would be an understatement. The Fab Four was massive back in the day and their reputation still stands to this day, millions of devoted fans cherish their music and they will be delighted to find out that there’s a possibility that The Beatles could arrive on music streaming services later this month.
The Beatles’ catalog hasn’t embraced the digital age as enthusiastically as other players in the music industry, sure you can purchase the music off of iTunes, listen on Pandora and play to it in Rock Band, but that’s about it. Don’t worry about finding them on Spotify or Apple Music because they’re not there.
A new report from Billboard claims that the entire catalog of these legends will be available for online streaming as soon as Christmas, which is less than a week away. The report doesn’t mention which services will have the catalog but does claim that talks about a six-month exclusive with one music streaming service fell through.
It’s claimed that “most, if not all” online streaming services will get The Beatles catalog next week, finally bringing these persistent holdouts in the modern way of listening to music. There’s no avoiding the fact that streaming music is gaining in popularity even against digital downloads and that could be one of the reasons why we might finally see The Beatles on our favorite music streaming services.
