If you’re a fan of the legendary band, you might be pleased to learn that Billboard’s report has since been corroborated by a new report from Re/code and confirmed by the band’s website itself.
According to their report, The Beatles will indeed be available for streaming come Christmas Eve. Re/code’s report even lists the platforms in which the band’s music will be available from, which for the most part seems to be the more mainstream players such as Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Google Play, and it also seems that Amazon’s Prime Music is on the list as well. It will also be available on Slacker, Groove, Rhapsody, and Deezer.
As for platforms that won’t be streaming their albums and songs, it would be Pandora namely due to the fact that they do not offer on-demand deals, and also Rdio which has recently shut down after Pandora had bought its assets. As for when it will be available for streaming, it has been set for the 24th of December. According to the website, it does not matter where you are. As long as it is the 24th of December 12:01AM in your local time, you should be able to start streaming their songs.
