At the time of launch, it was only available in the Chinese market but recently the company has confirmed that the device will be making its way stateside. To help bring the Bellamy to the US, Swatch has teamed up with Visa and will be bringing the device to the US, Brazil, and Switzerland, but unfortunately no specific dates with regards to its release was shared.
However we can expect it sometime in 2016 so if you’re not fully onboard with the idea of smartwatches just yet, then the Bellamy could be worth looking into. For those unfamiliar with the Bellamy, at its core it is still a regular timepiece and it is not a smartwatch. However it does come with technology that lets users pay for items via the watch.
No word on pricing of the Swatch Bellamy for the US market either, but either way we’ll be keeping our eyes and ears peeled for more information regarding its launch.
