We know, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has only just been released and is barely half a week old. However if you loved the movie so much and can’t wait to watch it again, maybe from the comfort of your own home without the crowd, sticky cinema floors, and overpriced popcorn and drinks, you’re in luck, sort of.
It seems that Google has started to take pre-orders for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Like we said, the movie is barely released but if you’d like, you can actually pre-order the movie’s digital release. It is priced at $19.99 for the HD version and $14.99 for the SD version, and according to Google it will be added to your library the minute it has been released.
So when will it be released? Unfortunately we reckon it might still be a bit too early to tell but according to Google, they will begin sending out emails to notify customers once a release date has been set. Granted this isn’t the Blu-ray cut but if you’re not too fussed with regards to resolution, then perhaps this could be worth checking out.
If you’d like to get ahead of the curve, then you should head on over to Google Play to reserve a copy of the movie upon its release (outside of cinemas). In the meantime outside of watching the movie in the cinema, the next best thing would be its soundtrack, which is available for purchase via iTunes or Google Play Music, or streaming via Apple Music or Spotify.
