Sprint Begins Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update For LG G Stylo

Earlier this year in April, LG of South Korea made an announcement concerning their brand new mid-range smartphone, calling it the LG G Stylo (a rather presumptuous moniker, don’t you think so?), where said handset was supposedly able to support up to 2TB of storage space. Having said that, with the smartphone having clocked up more than half a year’s worth of time in the market, it is nice to hear that some mobile carriers such as Sprint is offering the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the device.

Of course, if you happen to be one of the carrier’s subscribers and also own the said smartphone, then this is definitely one bit of news that is worth being joyful over. After all, it never hurts to have the latest stable operating system version or update on your handset, right? Right now, the LG G Stylo costs $288 sans contract, or if you prefer to pick it up with a 2-year contract, it will set you back by $49 a pop.

The 5.7” smartphone comes with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, where it will be accompanied by the likes of1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, LTE connectivity, a 5MP front-facing camera, an 8MP shooter at the back, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, a 3,000 mAh battery and a stylus pen.
