Whenever a particular handset is about to roll out, you can be sure that there there will be plenty of rumors and buzz that surrounds it – and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 would also fall under a similar category. We’ve seen it leaked in a render before, not to mention appearing in a piece of promo material to boot. Having said that, here we are with word that the Samsung Galaxy A9 has been spotted on the FCC database, where it is listed as – no surprises here, the Samsung Galaxy A9. This can only mean one thing – it will be released to the masses not too long from now, and hopefully, before the year is over!
The FCC filings do not reveal too much information where hardware specifications are concerned, although those have been talked about in previous rumors as well as leaks, AnTuTu benchmarks and the like. If one were to expand on the Galaxy A9’s filing, then we can safely say that it would open up the path for an official launch in the near future.
After all, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) was spotted on the FCC on November 27, before it picked up an official announcement in less than a week’s time. [FCC Page]
