Rumor: HTC Perfume To Deliver Android 6.1 And Sense 8.0
The folks over at HTC aren’t exactly experiencing the best of times, but neither are they going through a trough at the moment. Basically, they are just existing, and with good news concerning its recent revenue call, things do look as though they are about to get brighter. There has not been much word concerning the next flagship model for the company, although for a little while it did seem as though the HTC O2 would be such a device, although it seems that the tables have turned with the next major product announcement being the HTC Perfume. Will Perfume be the actual name or codename? Only time will tell.
It has been rumored that the HTC O2 will roll out with Android 6.1 and Sense 8.0 in tow, and just about everyone knows that neither are in existence at the moment. HTC definitely could jump to Sense 8.0 at their own time, and since Android 6.0 Marshmallow was just introduced in November, it remains to be seen just how close we are to an Android 6.1 rollout.
Rumored hardware specifications for the HTC Perfume include a 6” display, a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB of RAM, either 64GB or 128GB of internal memory, a 20.7MP shooter at the back with a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 3500mAh battery.
