The “quiet chair” happens to be a very special spot where you place your tush, and your stylist will cut without exchanging a single word with you.
Owner of the hair salon shared, “We understand people lead busy lives where they may have been communicating with people all day and want some relief. A trip to the hair salon is supposed to be relaxing … not everybody is comfortable with small talk.” Well, it seems that no technology is involved at all in the quiet chair, just plain old discipline of the tongue.
