With MWC 2016 only a couple of months away, we’re sure that many smartphone lovers and enthusiasts are excited to see what companies might have in store for us. Now according to the rumors, LG might have something for us in the form of the LG G5. We had previously heard about some leaked specs, and now additional details and a partial photo has surfaced.
The images and specs were originally posted on Reddit (image has since been taken down) and as you can see, it shows us what appears to be the backplate for the alleged handset. According to the poster, the phone is said to sport a full metal body, versus the LG G4 which seemed to come in a variety of finishes including leather, but not metal.
The poster also claims that the phone will be of the 5.3-inch variety with a QHD resolution, a Snapdragon 820 chipset can be found under the hood with 3GB of RAM, USB Type-C connectivity, support for microSD, a fingerprint scanner, and interestingly enough it has also been suggested that we can look forward to a 16MP + 8MP rear-facing dual-camera setup, while the front camera will be an 8MP shooter.
There is even talk about the phone packing a heart rate sensor, although this does sound like too much of a wishlist than actual specs. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but these rumored specs do seem to go against what we had heard previously so as it stands, the specs of the phone is still pretty much up in the air.
