It looks like the Pokémon continues to remain strong after so many years of being in the market. In fact, we just have revealed that there will be limited edition Pokémon-colored Nintendo 2DS handheld consoles which will be launched in Japan, marking the very first time that such consoles would hit the Land of the Rising Sun. Apart from that, Pokémon fever will not die down so easily, as the Pokémon trading card game is about to be on the receiving end of an anniversary re-release.
This means that those who missed out on the very first set of Pokémon trading cards should not pass up on such a re-release opportunity, thanks to the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon series. This coming February 27th will see Japanese Pokémon fans being able to pick up the original base set in its first reprinting in years.
The pack will comprise of five dozen cards, a player’s manual and a coin. What one will be able to find on these cards would be designs that are similar to their 20-year-old counterparts. Boy, has two decades passed by already? Time surely zips by us while we are having fun. Time to start stocking up on cash to purchase boxes of these stuff! [Official Page]
