New Google Glass Arrives At The FCC

In March this year, Google’s Eric Schmidt confirmed that its Google Glass project will make a return in the future, although he remained mum back then as to when it would happen. It looks like there is not much longer where one needs to wait, as a spanking new Google Glass model has just hit the FCC, and what makes this upcoming model of Google Glass all the more interesting is the fact that it comes with a larger Glass prism with the ability to fold up.

The FCC listing is further proof that Google Glass is far from finished and buried, as the new face computer model from Google should be able to pack its fair share of features and specifications that ought to allow it to be highly sought after should it be made available to the masses on a large scale. The revealed Google Glass unit comes with the FCCID “A4R­-GG1” model number, and since it can be folded up like a regular pair of glasses, surely it is a whole lot easier to stash away whenever you are not wearing it.

Apart from that, the Glass prism itself does look longer compared to the first version of the device, and it also looks as though the “Glass” bit happens to be totally independent of the glasses which hold it on your face.
