Just in case you were too busy with holiday festivities and forgot to check what’s happening online, you might have missed the new Deadpool trailer that was released over Christmas. It came following the 12 days of Deadpool promotion that 20th Century Fox and Marvel bestowed upon us, releasing multiple teaser trailers of the upcoming superhero movie and offering a glimpse at the script itself. Over Christmas a brand new proper trailer for the movie was released.
As we have seen in the past, two versions of one trailer were released, one that’s safe enough to watch with the kids around and the other with the not so nice words.
The new trailer starts off by showing how Deadpool became Deadpool, we get a glimpse of protagonist Wade Wilson as a lab experiment, who ultimately becomes the scarred superhero that Ryan Reynolds appears to have brilliantly played.
The trailer also includes Colossus from X-Men, who is voiced by Stefan Kapicic, and Ellie Phimister a.k.a Negasonic Teenage Warhead who has mutant powers, that’s a bit different from the psychic powers that this character has in the original comic books.
Deadpool’s wit and humor is in full display as are the multitude of action sequences that are bound to be the highlight of this film. Deadpool hits the big screen in February 2016.
