Minecraft never really had a story mode before but Telltale Games fixed that, the studio is known for creating episodic series like The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, and it did justice to Minecraft as well. So far three episodes of Minecraft: Story Mode have already been released and now Telltale Games had confirmed the Minecraft: Story Mode episode 4 release as well. It’s going to take place later this month.
It was confirmed last year that Mojang will be working with Telltale Games to create a whole new version of this popular game, one that players had never experienced before. It was finally released earlier this year for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, Android and iOS.
Players control protagonist Jesse who is portrayed by actor Patton Oswalt, the protagonist and his friends follow the legendary Order of the Stone and they set out on an adventure to find the Order if they want to save their world from oblivion.
Three episodes have been released so far and the story has progressed nicely. Telltale has confirmed that the fourth and final episode of the first season is going to be released later this month, and also mentioned that a “mysterious” fifth episode is going to be released in the coming year. It’s going to reveal full details in a few days.
