Micromax Reveals Couple Of Budget Phablets

Not everyone will be able to afford a flagship device, that is for sure. Hence, this opens up a door of opportunity for those who would like to purchase a mid-range or even entry level device, and Micromax of India has a couple of such devices available – where they are aptly known as the Canvas Mega E353 as well as the Canvas Mega 4G Q417. Surely these are model numbers that would take some level of concentration to remember at first glance, don’t you think so? These will retail for Rs 7,999 and Rs 10,999, respectively, although no exact sales date has been set just yet.

First of all, the Micromax Canvas Mega E353 will feature a 5.5” HD IPS display, accompanied by a Mediatek MT6592M chipset, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which thankfully, can be expanded via a microSD memory card slot. A 2,820mAh battery will keep it chugging along nicely.

As for the Micromax Canvas Mega 4G Q417, this particular model will boast of 4G capability, and it will also feature a 5.5” HD IPS display, Mediatek MT6735 SoC with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, running on a 2,500mAh battery. Shared hardware specifications include a 13MP camera at the back and a 5MP front-facing camera, with Android 5.1 Lollipop in tow.
