Luna Is A 360-degree Camera That Fits Into Your Pocket

If you’re looking to hop on board the virtual reality bandwagon and start producing 360-degree videos, you obviously will need to invest in a camera setup. Now there are many different options out there, ranging from the ridiculously expensive where you basically mount an array of GoPros onto a 360-degree rig, or you can opt for cheaper options where it is a single device.

If you’d rather not spend thousands of dollars towards your first virtual reality efforts, then you might be interested in an Indiegogo project for a camera called the Luna. If you have a few minutes to spare, you should check out the video above which explains a bit about the camera, but more importantly it also shows you how tiny it is.

The Luna is about the size of a pool ball meaning that you can slip it into your backpack, handbag, or even your pocket without much issue. It also features dual 190-degree fish-eye lens technology meaning that there is no moving parts, thus ensuring that the device remains sturdy. The Luna is also waterproof and comes with gyro-stabilization, so taking steady videos should not prove to be much of an issue.

There is also built-in WiFi so that the footage you capture can be viewed on your smartphone or tablet. The Luna is priced at $299 as an early bird special so if you’d like to claim it before its price raises to $349, head on over to its Indiegogo page for the details.
