Microsoft does not only do software, as they also do happen to dabble in a little bit of hardware as well. Tablets such as the Surface Pro series is one of them, whereas the smartphone industry is also a little bit richer for it with Microsoft’s involvement. One of Microsoft’s upcoming smartphones would reside in the upper mid-range level, where it has experienced its fair share of leaks prior in press renders and some suspected live images, although nothing has been confirmed just yet. What you see above would be a shot of the alleged Microsoft Lumia 850 nestling within a protective case.
Of course, it is impossible to see the handset in its entirety when it is “hiding” behind the protective case, but it more or less seem to confirm the design of the Lumia 850 in accordance to the leaked renders of yore. It does look as though the upcoming Microsoft Lumia 850 will boast of a metal frame, a 5” touchscreen display at 1,280 x 768 resolution, a 10MP shooter at the back with Zeiss optics and LED flash, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 2,650mAh battery.
Needless to say, the Microsoft Lumia 850 wiIl be powered by Windows 10 Mobile as the operating system of choice.
