Once again this tablet has been launched in the South Korean market. There is no word on whether or not LG will bring it stateside or to other markets around the world, so until we hear otherwise perhaps you should not hold your breath. This tablet will be similar in the sense that it comes with a stylus, but other than that it is an upgraded version of the G Pad II 8.0.
For starters instead of an 8-inch 1200×800 display, this tablet will sport a slightly larger 8.3-inch 1920×1200 display, making it sharper than its predecessor. Under the hood it has also been given an upgrade to a Snapdragon 615 chipset with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of storage and will also sport a microSD card slot that will support up to 2TB of storage.
It also comes with a 4,800mAh battery, slightly larger than the earlier launched tablet, and will come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop preinstalled, which is admittedly a bit disappointing as we would have much preferred Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Pricing was not announced but based on its specs, we doubt it will be breaking the bank.
