galaxynote-5-winter-editionSamsung’s Galaxy S6 series comes in three different storage options: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB options. As our media files get bigger these days and with apps becoming more complex going beyond the typical fart app, their install sizes have increased as well. This means that in terms of smartphone storage, we will need more space than ever.

Unfortunately when the Galaxy Note 5 was launched, it came with a maximum storage of 64GB and with no microSD card slot, Android users used to being able to expand their memory will now need to learn to juggle their storage space. The good news is that you may no longer have to, or at least you’ll have a bit more freedom than before.

This is thanks to Samsung announcing the Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition. While the name is pretty “grand”, basically what this is is a Galaxy Note 5 with 128GB of storage. Externally it does not appear to be too different from the Galaxy Note 5, with the only change being the movement of the Samsung logo to the lower part of the phone.

We’re not sure why this is called the Winter Edition when in reality it isn’t too different save for the memory and logo placement, but if you want a 128GB Galaxy Note 5, this could be it. At the moment it is only available in South Korea and there is no word if it will arrive stateside, but if you want the Note 5 with more storage then you’ll want to keep an eye out for its availability.
