Samsung-Galaxy-S6-Edge-Plus-12So far it seems that Samsung has been releasing at least two variants of its flagship devices. Earlier this year we got treated to the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Later this year, we got a look at the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+, so the question is could we expect the same come 2016?

Turns out that maybe we can’t, because a recent tweet by @evleaks has revealed that we won’t be getting two variants of the Galaxy S7. Nope, instead it seems that we can actually look forward to there being four variants of the smartphone. According to his tweet, the four variants are the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7  Edge Plus, and the Galaxy S7 Plus.

Presumably the S7 will be the “normal” model, while the Edge and Edge Plus will feature the curved displays, with the Plus being the larger of the two. As for the Galaxy S7 Plus, based on its name we can only assume that this handset will basically be the larger version of the Galaxy S7 with a flat screen, as opposed to a curved display.

Of course this should all be taken with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think? Will it be a smart move by Samsung to release four versions of its handsets? And more importantly, which of the alleged four sounds the most appealing to you?
