At least the delay as reported was just temporary, and Mr. Elon Musk shared, “Just reviewed mission parameters with SpaceX team. Monte Carlo runs show tomorrow (Monday) night has a 10 percent higher chance of a good landing. Punting 24 hours.”
Monday’s launch saw the first stage achieve history as it made a return to LZ-1, having successfully landed in a milestone event for SpaceX. This particular success has definitely fed itself off Mr. Musk’s optimistic statements generated over the weekend, where the attempt to carry out a land recovery was the main focus of the core’s role post-ascent ambition. Earlier in the past, a couple of landing attempts were made. SpaceX’s larger rocket debut, also called by its other name, the Falcon Heavy, is tipped for an unveiling some time in the middle to latter part of next year right from the Kennedy Space Center.
