If you’re looking to build a small form factor (SFF) PC, chances are size is a priority to you which means that there will be plenty of trade-offs that you’ll have to make in terms of component choices. For example full-sized and more powerful GPUs will not be an option, and your choice of cooling system will most probably be limited to fan systems.
However if liquid cooling systems is a must, Corsair might have something for you. The company has recently announced the new Hydro Series H5 SF. This is Corsair’s first liquid CPU cooling system that was designed specifically for SFF builds in mind. As you can see in the image above, the H5 SF is definitely a lot smaller than one might expect from a regular liquid cooling system.
It measures 85mm tall and according to Corsair, will offer up to 15W of heat dissipation. The company is also boasting that the system will be easy to install and will also be able to accommodate builds that overclock the system, and its design will allow it to be installed on top of mini ITX motherboards without the need for external fan mounts of brackets.
If this sounds like the perfect cooling system for your SFF build, the H5 SF will be priced at $80 and will come with a 5-year warranty.
