Canadian carrier SaskTel happens to be selling BlackBerry’s maiden attempt at an Android-powered handset for CAD 250 (which is approximately $180 after conversion), which is CAD 150 more affordable as opposed to the regular sticker price of CAD 400.
While the offer is only made available for online purchases that are made via the carrier’s website in addition to its physical stores, it remains out of stock for those who would prefer the virtual route. The remaining Canadian carriers, Rogers included, are still standing by the old price of CAD 400. Could this be part of BlackBerry’s move to clear as much stock of the first generation Priv as possible, before taking the next step to roll out a second generation model of the Priv?
