Assassin’s Creed Movie Set Photos Leaked Online

As you might have heard, an Assassin’s Creed movie is in the works. The movie will feature pretty big names, like Michael Fassbender who will be playing the lead character. In fact several months ago a photo surfaced which showed Fassbender in costume. Now thanks to a new photo that was posted on Skript.fr’s website (via ScreenRant), we have another look at the actor in costume.

So far we have to admit that we are liking what we are seeing in terms of costume, which for now seems to be pretty on point. Unfortunately the rest of the set’s photos weren’t shown but based on what we know about the movie so far, it will be set in the 15th century in Spain where Fassbender will play as Callum Lynch. The movie’s story itself will be a brand new one, so don’t expect it to be an adaptation of the game.

However it will share the same universe as the Assassin’s Creed franchise, so perhaps we could see Ubisoft expand on the movie’s story in game form in the future. Unfortunately we still have quite a long way to go before its release, which last we heard was scheduled for December 2016, so hopefully in the coming months we can look forward to a teaser or a trailer of sorts.
