There is a saying that goes something like this – there’s no smoke without fire. While that might be true, sometimes rumors are just that – yarns that are thought up of without any basis of truth. One thing is for sure though – whenever there is a brand new smartphone that is about to hit the market, you can be sure that there will be a fair number of rumors that will surround said handset, even more so if it is a high profile model. Microsoft’s upcoming handset that will run on the Windows 10 platform would be the Lumia 650, where a few new renders have appeared after an image of the alleged model appeared last week.
These are not leaked renders, and rather, have been said to be based on internal Microsoft slides for the handset. Hence, it is not official at all, but they are apparently “highly reflective of the final product”. Do expect the Lumia 650 to be made official either next month or in February next year, where it will target companies primarily as it is positioned as the affordable business phone, ready and waiting to be deployed in enterprise environments. No prizes for guessing whether this will continue from where the Lumia 640 left off.
