Much has been said about Rainbow Six: Siege over the past week, with it first being announced as going live, before being delayed, and subsequently, having all of its kinks ironed out so that it will be released. Having said that, this particular title has captured the attention of many a gamer, and in a team game like this, you can be sure that there will be a small percentage of bad apples, so to speak, who love nothing but to wreak havoc on proceedings – and hence, resulting in a somewhat unofficial policy that there will be a very low level of tolerance for teamkillers.
The folks over at Ubisoft already has a plan in place in order to deal with such trolls. Basically, those who decide to take the action to pick off their other team members in Rainbow Six: Siege “will not be tolerated”, and it remains to be seen just what kind of plan that Ubisoft has in mind when it comes to “handling” them.
So far, there are no penalties incurred to discourage players from teamkilling other players, but thankfully, all those incidents happened in the multiplayer beta last week, which will no longer be there at launch. Ubisoft mentioned on Twitter, “We have a plan in place to handle them.It will not be tolerated at launch!”
