Xiaomi Mi Band 1S Prepared For November 11th Rollout
Xiaomi of China has been behind the Xiaomi Mi Band, which is stated to be one of the most popular fitness trackers in the world, where that popularity is attributed to the price of the device. Of course, when you have something that falls under the budget range of things, you should not have too much expectations on the functionality, right? The same holds true for the Xiaomi Mi Band, as it does fairly normal stuff like measuring the number of steps taken, calories burned, a vague representation of your sleep pattern, and to help unlock your phone and vibrate whenever here is a notification on a smartphone. Perhaps it is time for a sequel, and sources from China tout that the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S is well on its way to the market this coming November 11th.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S will be a new bracelet wearable tech that is said to be able to keep track of your heart rate well as do a far better job than its predecessor when it comes to tracking your sleep. The optical heart rate tracker will be located right smack at the bottom of the device, meeting your hand head on. This added functionality will no doubt be more of a burden to the battery life, so be prepared that the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S will not last as long as its predecessor where battery life is concerned.
Other than that, the leaked images do point to the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S looking as discreet as before, and the rumored asking price will sure to make it continue as a bestseller for a long time to come. After all, who can resist an asking price of $15 (99 yuan) a pop?
