X-Doria KidGPS Will Help Keep Tabs On Your Kids

Back in the day when we used to go out as kids, our parents would typically ask where we were going and to call them when we arrived, so as to give them that peace of mind. Nowadays we suppose some parents still ask their kids to do that, but with the advancement in technology, even if kids don’t say anything, parents can still track their kids, like with the LG KizON.

That being said if you’re after a tracking device for your kid, you might be interested to learn that the folks at X-Doria have recently unveiled the KidGPS. As the name implies, this is a GPS device aimed at kids. This isn’t really a wearable compared to the KizON, but it does have a clip that you can hook onto their pants or belt.

Alternatively they could always slip it into their pockets or place it in a bag. From there, parents will be able to track their kids via an iOS or Android app. Parents can even set up geofences, meaning that if your kid wanders out of a particular area, like your home or school, it will send you a text message to alert you of that.

There is also a built-in panic button that when pressed, will send an alert to their parents to let them know something is wrong. For concerned parents, the KidGPS will be priced at $99.99 for the device only and will also come with three-months worth of tracking service. If you’d like to continue the service, it will be priced at $5.99 a month for 12 months, or $7.99 a month for 6 months.
