When World of Warcraft: Legion was announced, we’re sure some fans were probably a bit disappointed that Blizzard would be revisiting the Burning Legion storyline again. However what managed to get many gamers excited was the introduction of the Demon Hunter class. Prior to that, the closest anyone could get to being a Demon Hunter was by playing a Night Elf/Blood Elf Rogue dual wielding the Twin Blades of Azzinoth.
So far what we know of the class is that it will play a bit differently from the other classes in the sense that some of its basic abilities has been enhanced somewhat. For example all character classes in World of Warcraft can jump, but Demon Hunters have the ability to double jump. In any case for those curious about the class, you’re in luck because early gameplay footage of the class has been posted online (see video above).
The footage came from BlizzCon 2015 which took place a couple of weekends ago. From the footage what we can tell is that Demon Hunters have their own starting zone. They will also start at level 98 meaning that they have 12 levels to hit the level cap. They will be equipped with armor at item level 660, and weapons at item level 690, although more items will be unlocked as you progress in your quests.
Note that this is an early demo of the class and its abilities, meaning that there is a good chance Blizzard will change a few things and tweak it further ahead of its release, but so far we are liking what we see! World of Warcraft: Legion has been pegged for a release by 21st September 2016 and is currently available for pre-purchase.
