So World of Warcraft’s subscription numbers are no longer what they used to be, but for a game that has recently turned 11 years old, 5.5 million monthly active users is nothing to scoff at. That being said if you’re a huge fan of collectibles, you might want to log into the game because Blizzard is handing out some in-game rewards to players.
These rewards are in conjunction with the game’s 11th anniversary. So what will players get? For starters you will get a bind-on-account cosmetic version of the legendary weapon Thunderfury. They only have 5 charges so use them wisely (or create multiple characters since they’re BoA anyway).
You will also get a costume set for the Deadmines boss Edwin VanCleef, once again with 50 charges so use them sparingly. There are also wands for Murloc and Gnoll disguises, along with an 11% experience boost so if you want to power level some new characters and alts, now’s a good time to do so.
The anniversary will run from the 16th of November until the 30th of November, so if you haven’t logged in recently but have an active account, you should probably go ahead and login to claim them while they are still valid.
