Verizon already has quite a few Ellipsis tablets in its lineup, only recently it launched one that’s meant just for kids, and today it’s adding a 10-inch Ellipsis tablet to the lineup. The Ellipsis 10 tablet features a 10-inch full HD display and also boasts the largest capacity battery of any tablet with the same display size that’s currently available on Verizon, this particular Ellipsis tablet is available exclusively from Big Red.
Ellipsis 10 is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop, it’s housed in a bevel-edged case with a soft-touch rear enclosure “that is as nice to look at as it is to hold,” says Verizon.
The 10.1 inch 1,920×1,200 pixel resolution display is good for watching movies, playing games or just browsing the internet. Smart amp sound technology is also onboard with angular firing stereo speakers which provide an enhanced audio experience.
Tablet’s aren’t commonly used for taking photos, because it looks absurd, nevertheless they do need to have cameras for features like video calling. This tablet has a 5 megapixel rear with 1080p video recording and a 2 megapixel camera on the front. 4G LTE support is present alongside 16GB of onboard storage with microSD card support, all of this is backed by a chunky 9,100mAh battery that promises 25 hours of power for mixed use.
Ellipsis 10 is available exclusively from Verizon for $199 upfront with a new two year service contract. It can also be purchased on the installment plan for $12.49 per month for 24 months, existing customers can add it to their existing Verizon plan for an additional $10 per month.
