For those who aren’t car enthusiasts, you might not be familiar with a company called Pininfarina. This is an Italian design studio who have in the past have helped design some of the most iconic Ferrari’s around, along with other companies. Recently it would seem that they have decided to try their hand at something new – tractors.
As you can see in the image above and below, this is the Zetor tractor as designed by Pininfarina. Now before you wonder who on earth would drive such a tractor on the farm, it isn’t an actual vehicle for sale, but rather a concept that the company will be showing off at the Agritechnica trade show which will be taking place in Hannover, Germany.
The design will also celebrate Zetor Tractors’ 70 years of operations. That being said while it seems unlikely that we’ll actually be seeing production models of this particular tractor, the company has not ruled out the possibility, or at least adopt some of its design elements into future tractors.
According to a Zetor spokesperson, “We assume that the new Zetor by Pininfarina design will be adopted in all the series of Zetor tractors.” No word on what kind of specs we are looking at, but from a design standpoint it looks pretty damn cool.
