This is according to Sony’s PlayStation group marketing manager Lauren Bradley during an interview with MCV. Speaking about Star Wars Battlefront, Bradley also revealed that shooter fans were starting to switch over to the PS4. “This generation, the shooter audience is tending to switch over to PS4, so we’ve got high expectations for Star Wars Battlefront around both launch and into next year.”
This is an interesting sentiment, especially when you consider that earlier this week, Microsoft Xbox executive Aaron Greenberg said the same thing when it came to the Xbox One. According to Greenberg at that time, he claimed that the Xbox One was the preferred platform for shooters, and that titles such as Halo and Gears of War, both of which are exclusive to the Xbox platform, are what differentiates them from the competition.
That being said we suppose this debate between the PS4 and the Xbox One will never end, with each platform scoring exclusives for different games, but what do you guys think? Is there a platform that you think is better as far as shooters are concerned?
