Sony hasn’t really being doing that well in the smartphone market, particularly in the United States, so it’s trying all kinds of methods to boost its sales. The latest involves enticing potential customers with $50 in PlayStation Store credit if they purchase either a Sony Xperia Z3+ or Xperia Z4 tablet, this offer comes at a time when many will be looking to purchase new items over the holidays and Sony is probably thinking it can lure them in with a $50 credit.
Xperia Z3+ was launched in the United States just a couple of weeks back, it features minor upgrades over the Xperia Z3 that arrived earlier this year, it remains to be seen though if this promotion helps in any way to boost sales of this particular handset.
Sony will provide customers who purchase the Xperia Z3+ or the Xperia Z4 tablet with $50 in PlayStation Store Credit. In order to get their due customers will need to send photos of the original sales receipt with the IMEI number filled in. The process will be handled through a dedicated website for this promotion, the website will close for redemption claims on January 31st, 2016
Devices that have been purchased from B&H Photo Video and Amazon before the end of this year are eligible for the $50 PlayStation Store credit, customers just need to make sure that they send in a redemption request before January 31st, 2016.
